Probi signs a new long-term agreement with Institut Rosell
After several years of positive cooperation, Probi and Rosell have agreed to continue the partnership by signing a new long-term agreement for a dietary supplement based on Probi’s strain Lp299v™. The new agreement replaces the seven year old agreement with Institut Rosell which is the basis of approximately twenty percent of Probi’s turnover. The new agreement has an initial term of seven years. It will secure Probi’s existing license revenues over a long term as well as secure supply of a high quality product at highly competitive pricing. The new agreement furthermore enables Probi to enter into direct distribution agreements or launch dietary supplements for gut health on its own in territories not covered by Institut Rosell’s exclusivity. The agreement is expected to have positive impact on Probi’s profit already in the second quarter of 2011.

Probi’s dietary supplements for immune health to be launched by Alapis Group in Greece
Probi has signed a distribution agreement giving Alapis Group the right to sell Probi’s dietary supplement for immune health in Greece and Cyprus. Alapis Group, based in Greece, is set to be one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Southeast Europe. The product will be launched under Alapis international probiotic brand, which currently carries two products. Probi will start shipments in the second quarter of 2011 and the product will be launched into Greek pharmacies in the third quarter.

Extended collaboration with Camox in South Africa

Probi to add approx. 5 million SEK in net sales through extended collaboration with Camox Pharmaceuticals
Probi has signed an additional agreement with Camox Pharmaceuticals, one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in South Africa. The new agreement follows the one signed in March 2010 regarding Probi´s immune product. It gives Camox Pharmaceuticals rights to launch two new line extensions in South Africa based on Probi’s flagship strain Lp299v™. The new agreement is expected to add approx. 5 million SEK to Probi´s net sales during the first 12 months after launch and it will contribute to profits already in 2011. This is in addition to revenues and profit expected from the first agreement with Camox.
