Employees

Because Probi operates in a competitive global market, it is essential to offer a high level of competence. A total of 90% of Probi’s employees have academic degrees, and 40% have doctoral degrees. Probi’s researchers have experience from the fields of medicine, microbiology and bioengineering.

About half of Probi’s employees work in the research and development organisation, which is led by a research manager. A dedicated product development manager is responsible for transforming research results into commercial products, ensuring that research is closely linked to the market.

Probi’s business model is based on networks and partnerships with a number of different stakeholders, including customers, business partners and research institutions. This has made it possible to ensure that Probi’s own organisation remains small and efficient. The organisation is characterised by openness and a short decision-making process.

Probi currently has two business areas: Functional Food and Consumer Healthcare. Management comprises the CEO, CFO, Vice President of Research & Development, and a Vice President of Marketing and Sales who has overall responsibility for the business areas. Each business area has a marketing and sales manager.
